L 270 cm x W 240 cm. The bedspread can be used as desired with the strips either longitudinally or transversely, depending on the bed width. It is double-sided with the underside of single-colored natural white. The bedspread is suitable for King size beds.

100% handmade of organic cotton and dyed with all natural vegetable indigo colors in Rajasthan, India. Fill in the bedspread is also made of pure cotton.

Shibori-colored using strips / threads and Kantha-decorated with running stitches.

The bedspread has an embroidered label with ValeriaS.no – writing in gold thread on a light pink background.

It’s recommended with dry cleaning. Can also be hand washed in lukewarm water or in a washing machine in 30 degrees (Celsius) with Hand wash or Silk program.

A gorgeous bedspread that is hand-dyed using completely natural indigo colours and a traditional Tie dye-threads coloring method called Shibori. It is also hand-crafted and decorated with an ancient Kantha technique where dotted lines of stitches extend over the entire bed cover. You spend almost a month making such Kantha work bedspreads and blankets. A perfect detail for any bedroom that creates a modern and original expression. The thin cotton in this bedspread feels completely silky smooth and provides a luxurious experience.

Kantha work is a traditional family tradition of embroidery art, which is continued from mother to daughter and originates from north-eastern regions of India. Old saris, dhotis and similar garments are sewn together and embroidered with running stitches to make lightweight bedspreads and blankets. Some minor imperfections in embroidery patterns are characteristic of such fully handcrafted textiles. Every article is unique and there is no other completely alike.
